Water Iris

The water iris is the only plant in my front facing garden that survives the appetite of the Kudu. They are a large horned antelope who place no aesthetic value on blooms, except for those they cannot reach. Each spring, the water gardens are filled with a blanket of vivid blue water Iris'.
